In an Instagram post, Megastar Sharon Cuneta shares a video that she follows to lose weight and her strategy to sustain it.
Just like most things, there are no shortcuts when it comes to losing weight. When it comes to public figures whose physical appearance is as important as their talent, maintaining a healthy figure and appealing face is a must.
For years, Megastar Sharon Cuneta has struggled to lose weight but when she turned 50 years old has became her main transition point. She started her weight loss journey, taking every step seriously and with a process she embraced to happen in a gradual manner.
It’s been nine years of bouncing back and forth to gaining and losing weight and recently, ending the curiosity of many, she revealed her secret. In an Instagram post, she shared her secret and it was all in a YouTube video.
She’s been following a restrictive diet where she only consumes 900 calories every day and this could accordingly help her lose weight in just a matter of days. The diet indicated that she has to eat two apples, six eggs, green tea, a cup of oatmeal, a carrot, and a cucumber.
The Megastar follows this but only for a certain period of time just to get that jumpstart she needs. She remains careful as she knows that a drastic weight loss can cause sagging skin and a dull appearance.
She also follows a diet from doctors she knows and despite her desire to shed her extra pounds, she still makes sure to eat whatever she wants. Depriving herself of food that she wants can result in binge eating. Her strategy is to eat whatever she but only in small portions.
“Di ako puedeng laging deprived kundi magbibinge ako! Kaya kung gagawin nyo please tanong muna da doctor nyo okay po? Konting tiis lang – ivisualize niyo bawat minuto ang itchura niyo pag payat na at isipin niyo di naman mawawala yung pagkain na gusto nyo at kakainin nyo lahat yun pag payat na kayo (yun ang ginagawa ko)! Kung kaya ko na pinakamatakaw sa mundo, kaya niyo rin!!!” she wrote.
