Here’s the public apology of the son of Raffy Tulfo after committing a violation.
Quezon City 2nd district Rep. Ralph Tulfo, son of Raffy Tulfo, issued an apology after he illegally used the EDSA bus lane.
In a previous article, Senator Raffy Tulfo gets honest about the mistake his son made. Quezon City 2nd district Rep. Ralph Tulfo used the EDSA bus lane and was caught by the authorities.

Tulfo revealed his son’s violation but for him, he does not see any problem in the incident as his son did not run away. He faced the consequences and admitted the truth. Although he had reprimanded him.
“Pag hindi tumakas wala akong nakikitang problema. Pag hindi siya nang-abuso, hindi nagmura, wala akong nakikitang problema,” Tulfo told reporters.
He gave him a stern talk and told him to issue a public apology – which his congressman-son did. In a statement released on Tuesday night, January 28, Tulfo owed up to the violation he committed.
According to him, during the apprehension, the mentioning of any personality or any position did not occur. He claimed that no abuse of power transpired just to avoid penalty. He accepted the penalty, paid for the fine, and underwent a seminar about traffic rules.

Meanwhile, based on the rules and regulations, the following are just the only ones allowed to use the EDSA Busway:
- LTFRB-authorized buses, including those with special permits or franchises for the EDSA Buswayroute;
- On-duty ambulances, fire trucks, and Philippine National Police vehicles;
- Service vehicles performing duties for the EDSA Busway Project, such as construction, security, janitorial, and maintenance;
- Vehicles carrying the following officials:
- President of the Philippines
- Vice President of the Philippines
- Senate President
- Speaker of the House of Representatives
- Chief Justice of the Supreme Court
Violators may face the following penalties:
- First Offense: Php 5,000 fine
- Second Offense: Php 10,000 fine, one-month suspension of the driver’s license, and mandatory road safety seminar
- Third Offense: Php 20,000 fine and one-year license suspension
- Fourth Offense: Php 30,000 fine and a recommendation for license revocation by the Land Transportation Office
