Pauleen Luna expressed happiness for her husband
Celebrity mom Pauleen Luna reacted to the court’s decision favoring her husband Eat Bulaga host Vic Sotto.
Vic filed a petition for a writ of habeas data to order Pepsi Paloma movie director Darryl Yap to take down the teaser mentioning his name. In the teaser, the character of Pepsi Paloma and Charito Solis were having a heated conversation.
Charito’s character asked Pepsi’s character if it was true that Vic Sotto r@ped her. Pepsi’s character shouted “Oo.” Then, a text was flashed that stated that Softdrink Beauty filed a r@pe case against the comedian back on August 17, 1982.
With this, Vic Sotto decided to start his legal battle against Darryl Yap. He filed 19 counts of cyber libel against the director. The comedian-host also filed a petition for a writ of habeas data.
Just recently, the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court released a decision in favor of Vic. Darryl was ordered to delete and take down the Pepsi Paloma movie teaser on all platforms.
However, the court is still allowing the movie The R@pists Of Pepsi Paloma to be released in cinemas which is set to begin on February 5.
Following this court’s decision favoring the comedian-host, Pauleen Luna expressed happiness. In her Instagram post, she shared a copy of the court’s decision and their family photo.
“The results are in and the outcome is in our favor, confirming that the material released was malicious in nature. We won! This victory is for our children and family, and we humbly lift our gratitude to Almighty God,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
Pauleen also said that this should be a reminder that the words and actions of a person have great power and that kindness and integrity should always be people’s guide.
The celebrity mom also encouraged the public to be mindful and responsible when it comes to posting and sharing content online that has malicious intentions.
“We urge everyone to act with kindness, integrity, and respect, striving to uplift one another instead of causing harm,” Pauleen Luna stressed.
