The issue between Chie Filomeno and Dawn Chang resurfaced
Kapamilya actress Chie Filomeno reacted to a netizen’s “battle of starlets” comment on her issue with actress Dawn Chang.
Chie and Dawn were part of It’s Showtime’s defunct all-girl group GirlTrends. An issue surfaced between them years ago and this resurfaced just recently. It was because of Dawn’s statement in a podcast interview.
Dawn claimed that “CF” pulled her hair during a rehearsal. This caught the attention of the online community and netizens talked about this on different social media platforms as they easily concluded that it was Chie Filomeno.
With this, Chie did not hesitate to defend herself and clapped back at Dawn. She belied Dawn’s claim and said that the issue happened a long time ago. After Chie’s statement, netizens apparently were waiting for Dawn’s come back but she seemed unbothered with what the former shared online.

In a recent TikTok post that Chie shared, a netizen commented, “Battle of starlets daw yung sa x according sa reddit HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.” Chie had a fiery reply to this. “Oh tapo? Nakakabob0 reddit. Go maniwala lang kayo sa mga post doon HAHAHAHA,” the girlfriend of actor Jake Cuenca replied.

A netizen commented that Chie is indeed a “starlet” and accused her of attaching herself to other famous celebrities.
