PAGASA Says Easterlies and Amihan to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that the easterlies and the northeast monsoon will bring rains over parts of the country.

On Saturday (January 25, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies and the northeast monsoon will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA weather specialist Grace Castañeda reported that the easterlies and amihan will influence weather conditions in the country.

The northeast monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON.

The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Caraga, Davao Region, and SOCCSKSARGEN.

No low-pressure area is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility within the next few days.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern and Central Luzon will be moderate. The rest of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions, according to PAGASA.
