Since he started working as a janitor in 2012, Ronald has returned a total of P3,147,000 worth of cash and valuable items to their rightful owners.
Throughout his years of service, he has reunited countless lost items with their owners. Among the most notable were P2.4 million in cash and jewelry belonging to a Cebu-based businessman, P275,000 left behind by an overseas Filipino worker (OFW), P80,000 found in four separate wallets, and P17,000 discovered in a restroom.
Additionally, he returned seven cell phones valued at P150,000 and a box of jewelry estimated to be worth P100,000.
His honesty has earned him multiple awards and recognition, showing his commitment to doing what is right. Despite receiving such recognition, Ronald continues to serve humbly in his role as a janitor, unfazed by the attention his actions have brought him.
His acts of integrity have gained him the nickname “Honest NAIA Janitor,” a title that reflects not only his dedication to his job but also his strong moral values.
