Actress Julia Barretto is set to venture into hosting for the talent search show Artista Academy on TV5.
Julia came from a prominent showbiz clan in the Philippines. At a young age, she became part of the entertainment industry. She is now one of the most sought-after leading ladies of her generation.
Throughout her career, Julia has done many shows and movies. Now, she will add another achievement to her showbiz career.
Based on the article in Bandera, Julia Barretto was chosen to be the host of Artista Academy. In an interview, the actress said that she is preparing for her new hosting stint.
“Right now, it’s going to be a lot of research and finding inspiration and watching a lot of hosts doing their thing,” the actress shared.

“They’re much better versions of me. So that’s what makes me proud, because the things that I fear, they’re the ones naman very adventurous…and they take risks. This year, Julia Baretto is set to do several acting projects. She will star in the upcoming series What Lies Beneath will a star-studded cast composed of Bela Padilla, Janella Salvador, Charlie Dizon, Jake Cuenca, Jameson Blake, and JM de Guzman.
The actress expressed excitement about this project because of its unique and exciting storyline. She said that this would be a refreshing change for her because, since the pandemic, she has been doing love stories. Julia is also looking forward to working with the Kapamilya team.
