Vic Sotto is thankful for the support he receives now
Veteran comedian-host Vic Sotto said that his brother Tito Sotto and his close friend Joey de Leon are all-out support for him amid his legal battle.
Vic is in a legal battle now against director Darryl Yap. The issue started when Direk Darryl released the first teaser of his movie The R@pists Of Pepsi Paloma. It is a known fact to the public that Pepsi Paloma, one of the 80s Softdrinks Beauties, filed a r@pe case against Vic but she withdrew it.
In the teaser, Vic’s name was mentioned. The character of Charito Solis asked Pespi’s character if she was r@ped by the comedian and the answer was “oo.”
This did not sit well with many fans of Vic Sotto and as a reaction to this, he filed 19 counts of cyber libel against Direk Darryl Yap.
On social media, Bossing Vic received support from fans who have been very supportive of his career and whatever endeavor he would take despite the criticism from other people.
Previously, the Eat Bulaga host’s wife Pauleen Luna also expressed support for him. Pauleen accompanied Vic when he filed the case. The comedian-host also said that his children are supportive of him. They are also in a chill mood just like him.
Vic said that amid the legal battle, he has a happy disposition because he said, “I have a clean conscience.” He also said that there is nothing to worry about.
The comedian-host was also asked about the reactions of Tito Sotto and Joey de Leon, based on the article in Inquirer. They had been known as the TVJ trio for almost five decades already.
“All-out support. Kahit anong mangyari, sama-sama kami,” Vic said, adding that he is just “relax” and not minding the problem. “Hindi tayo bibigyan ng problema ng Panginoon kung hindi kayang ayusin,” he said.
