This is why the movie of Kim Chiu with Paulo Avelino was moved.
ABS-CBN actors Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are starring in a film and this is why the showing has been moved from February to March.
“My Love Will Make You Disappear” is the highly-anticipated first film of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino. In its first announcement, the film will be shown in February, however, based on an update, it was moved to March 26.
Some KimPau fans did not like this, hence, the issue that surfaced online. Last year, the shooting for the film started with director Chad Vidanes helming the project. This project marks the first film project of the onscreen pair. They have worked together in the hit series “Linlang” and the local adaptation of the Korean series “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?”.
In a previous article, Star Cinema released a statement about the rescheduling of the movie release. According to them, this was the result of their effort to expand their global reach. Star Cinema collaborated with the global theatrical distributor Abramorama and award-winning international entertainment marketing firm Amorette Jones Media Consulting.
In a recent episode of It’s Showtime, Kim made the same announcement and expressed her excitement. One of the hosts, Jhong Hilario asked why it was moved to a different date.
The actress answered this and according to her, such a decision was all for the “betterment of the movie”. The producer has contacted their global distributor and this resulted in more cinemas being opened for their film. On March 26, as per words, the movie will be shown worldwide.
“Dumami yung sinehan namin! Kaya kahit saang sulok man kayo ng mundo, mapapanood niyo po ang ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’,” she expressed based on the video.
