Anthony Jennings, Maris Racal Appear Together for the 1st Time Since Controversy
Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings shared their hopes for 2025 at the media conference for the upcoming action TV series Incognito.
One of the biggest controversies in the Philippine entertainment industry was the issue involving Anthony and Maris. It sparked after the now ex-girlfriend of the actor, Jamela Villanueva, exposed his private messages with Maris.
Jam’s exposure of the “betrayal” of Anthony and Maris while she and the actor were still together earned the two (2) celebrities countless bashing and criticisms online. Several brands also dropped the actress as their endorser following the issue.
Meanwhile, amid the issue, a beauty brand expressed support to Maris Racal. The actress has broken her silence amid the issue and claimed that she has no idea that Anthony and Jam were still together when he was allegedly claiming that he wants her and they have broken up.
Maris apologized to her fans and supporters for disappointing them and she also admitted that her brewing attraction with Anthony has led to her breakup with Rico Blanco. Then, she kept the real reason and claimed that her season in her life now has something to do with their split.
Anthony Jennings issued a short statement amid the issue. He apologized to everyone involved most especially to Maris and Jam.
Recently, for the first time, Anthony Jennings and Maris Racal were spotted together at the media conference of their upcoming action series Incognito. At the media con, the two (2) celebrities were asked about what they want to achieve in 2025.
“Gusto ko maayos na kalagayan lang, healthy lang,” Anthony said.
As for Maris, the young actress said that she wants to be “stronger” this year. She stressed that she is very happy to be a part of the Incognito and it feels “surreal”. The actress stressed that the project gave her the chance to showcase her other skills.
Following the issue, several fans noticed the sweetness between Anthony and Maris.
