Motorist in Cavite Expresses Frustration After Buyer Disappeared w/ His Motorcycle During Test Drive
A motorist was left devastated after a supposed buyer runs off with his motorbike during a test drive in General Trias, Cavite.
Recently, JohnMark Aquino, a Facebook user, shared his unfortunate experience about his stolen motorcycle. He is hoping that someone could help him locate his beloved bike. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to Aquino, he met the prospective buyer near a police station in Manggahan, General Trias, on the evening of January 5, 2025. Trusting the individual, he allowed the buyer to take the motorcycle for a test drive.
As assurance, the buyer left a mobile phone, but upon inspecting it, Aquino discovered it was merely a shell without a SIM card. This raised his suspicions, especially when the supposed buyer failed to return.
Aquino immediately reported the incident to the police, but his disappointment was clear. He explained that he felt confident transacting near a police station, assuming it would provide some level of safety.
Losing his motorcycle, which he had taken great care of, was an unexpected and painful experience. The motorist appealed to the public, urging anyone with information about his motorcycle to reach out to him directly. He assured a reward for anyone who could help recover it.
He advised the public to be vigilant to prevent similar incidents from happening to others.
