Jak, whose real name is Jan Rommel Osuna Roberto was born on December 2, 1993, in Nagcarlan, Laguna. Shaira Lenn Osuna Roberto, his younger sister, is an actress known as Sanya Lopez. Their parents are Marilyn Osuna and Ramil Roberto and they died when Jak was just five years old and Sanya was just two years old.
Growing up, he learned to inscribe epitaphs on tombs for earnings to help bring food to their table.

The actor, despite the opportunities that came to him when he joined show business, did not give up his studies. He finished Hotel and Restaurant Management at the Philippine Women’s University.
Jak Roberto Showbiz Career
It took endless auditions and countless rejections before Jak landed a spot in the entertainment industry. He was 18 years old when he officially became a part of Walang Tulugan with The Mastershowman, a late-night musical show in GMA -7. This was year 2011.
Being able to join the industry was life-changing to him. Each rejection he faced slowly killed his hope for his showbiz career but just when he was about to give up, his break happened.
Eventually, he signed up with the GMA Artist Center, and his career has continued up until now.

In 2015, Jak became part of the all-boy trio 3LOGY, and in 2017, he landed a role in GMA prime-time teleserye Meant to Be. He was one of the love interests of lead star Barbie Forteza.
