In a year that was, a lot has happened. From making mistakes, learning lessons the hard way, trying new things, and a lot more, it just uncovered the strength and love you never thought you had.
For actress Angelica Panganiban, 2024 brought her the happiest times and her greatest heartbreak. She wanted to remember 2024 with a grateful heart despite her encounter with the most painful event in her life which was losing her mother.
In 2024, she and Gregg Homan got married with their dream wedding held in Siargao Island. That was their second wedding but months after, her Mama Ebela passed away.
She was told that grieving never ends but it gets lighter over time, and despite the pain, she wanted to look back with gratitude. A lot of prayers were answered and many people stayed in their lives, especially during their darkest hours. There have been a lot of reasons to be grateful for that outweighed all the reasons that broke her.
The actress is also most grateful to her husband. It was s not the first year of marriage they had imagined it to be but this year, she would want to redeem what was lost.
She wrote, “kaya sa 2025, bagong taon, bagong pagkakataon. Hindi para makalimot. Taon ito para ipakita kung paano ako pinatibay ng nakaraang taon.”
With the year that has already started, she began with the hope of doing better with the strength she learned from the past year. Her post ended, “Para sa lahat ng dinaot last year, sabay sabay tayong bumangon dishyir.”
