KC Concepcion is embracing reconciliation this holiday season.
In a new Instagram post, actress-businesswoman KC Concepcion gushes about her mother Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Veteran actress Sharon Cuneta previously described her relationship with daughter KC Concepcion as “estranged” and that she was “very hurt” about the current status of her relationship with her daughter. It is not a secret that they have quite an on-and-off relationship. She is Megastar’s only daughter, and she is accompanied by actor Gabby Concepcion, her ex-husband.
In a new post of KC, she gushed about her relationship with her mother and this holiday season, she opened up herself for some reconnection and reconciliation with her mother.
She expressed her Merry Christmas wish to her followers and furthered that she had just had a meaningful conversation with the Megastar. It looks like she is ending the year right by fixing her relationship with her mother.
KC also reflected on the magic her mother brings during this season.
“Christmas will always be about love, laughter, and time with family for me… ending the year right with a conversation between Mama and I. She always makes the holidays extra magical and special,” she wrote.
For this year’s holiday, she will accordingly spend it to pray, reflect, recharge, reset, and look forward to the blessings God has in store for them. She believes that everything will be okay, especially between her and her Mama.
Meanwhile, the rift between them was fueled when last August, KC unfollowed her stepfather Kiko Pangilinan and half-sister Frankie on Instagram. She admitted to doing this but did not disclose the real reason apart from saying that what she did was for her mental health.
As for KC, she previously expressed to her mother that she will always strive to make her proud.
