CSA Denies Bullying Claims Involving Yasmien Kurdi’s Daughter
YASMIEN KURDI – Colegio San Agustin (CSA) firmly denies allegations of bullying involving Yasmien Kurdi’s daughter, stating, “No bullying happened.”
Colegio San Agustin has issued an official statement in response to Kapuso actress Yasmien Kurdi’s claims that her daughter, Ayesha, was subjected to bullying at the school. Signed by lawyers Joseph Noel M. Estrada and Willard T. Yung, the statement was shared on Facebook, describing the incident as having been “blown out in the public.”
According to the school, their initial findings suggest that “no bullying happened” on December 10, 2024. CSA assured that the issue was promptly addressed with the involvement of the students and parents concerned, handled with “caution, circumspection, and confidentiality.”
CSA urged Yasmien to collaborate with them and refrain from disclosing information about minor students, warning that such actions could lead to embarrassment or ridicule for those involved, both within the school and publicly. The school also highlighted the potential negative impact of Yasmien’s statements on the students, calling for respect for the privacy and dignity of all minors.
While CSA acknowledged the importance of tackling bullying, it stressed that seeking public attention on such matters might not effectively resolve conflicts or support student growth. The school encouraged trust in their process and cautioned against hastily labeling student interactions as bullying without sufficient evidence.
Yasmien previously alleged that Ayesha had been “ganged up on” by classmates for not responding to messages about their Christmas party during a vacation. She also claimed her daughter was blocked from leaving the classroom, denied food during breaks, and secretly recorded, causing anxiety and paranoia.
Adding a personal touch to her grievances, Yasmien shared on Instagram a torn photo of Ayesha, which she said represented the harassment her daughter experienced.
The actress is scheduled to meet with Department of Education Chief Sonny Angara to discuss strategies for addressing bullying in schools.
Ayesha is Yasmien’s eldest child with her husband, Rey Soldevilla, and the couple also shares a younger daughter, Raya Layla.
