Andi Eigenmann Shares How Her Children Coped With Homeschooling

Here’s the homeschooling journey of the children of Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo.

Siargao-based actress-vlogger Andi Eigenmann shares her life with her kids who are homeschooling in a post.

Homeschooling is an educational method where children are taught in the comfort and convenience of their homes. They don’t follow the traditional school settings and among the benefits of this setting are customized learning, flexible schedule, closer relationship between parents and their children, personalized attention, and more space for creativity, and freedom.

There are also challenges in this kind of schooling such as socialization concerns, lack of resources, and financial strain. Previously, Andi Eigenmann received a comment about her homeschooled children.

Andi fired back at the comment that seemed to preempt her decisions as a parent. According to the netizen, traditional schooling is better where they can enjoy things other students but the Siargao-based vlogger assured that her kids can still do it and at the same time, learn to correctly spell words.

In her post, Andi shared a glimpse of their lives with home-schooling and the progress the kids made by doing such a method. Their exploration was not only limited to books as their learning extended to exploring nature and at the same time, discovering more of themselves and their abilities.

However, they were not mainly focused on learning with nature as they also got to do some paperwork as part of their curriculum in the homeschool program.

“On top of all of this, I am also proud of their progress as little writers and early readers.📖Sounds like a busy year for them, eh? it doesn’t seem like so, when we let education thrive in the boundless expanse of the real world,” she wrote.

She clarified that it might not be the best form of education to some but for her, it is the best one she can provide for her kids. This is the method she believes works for their family.
