Tricycle Driver Praised for Showing Kindness to Passenger
A lady passenger praised and admired a tricycle driver who showed her kindness after she was allegedly rejected by other drivers.
Recently, Olivia Cabrito Sta. Ines, a Facebook user, shared a tricycle driver’s simple act of kindness for helping her after rejected by other drivers. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
Ines shared how she was struggling to find a ride after other drivers refused to take her because of traffic conditions near her destination. She had been waiting for a tricycle when one driver finally stopped to offer help.
He kindly asked her where she was heading, and she explained she needed to go to the DepEd office. Despite knowing traffic would be heavy in the area, the driver did not hesitate to take her.
When they reached her stop, Olivia handed over a fifty-peso bill, expecting to pay the usual amount. However, the driver only charged her P20, a much lower fare compared to what she had been asked for by others.
The lady passenger was grateful for the tricycle driver’s good heart. She saluted the driver’s kindness, saying many others often took advantage by charging higher fares. For her, his honesty and willingness to help deserved recognition and blessings.
