Chelsea Manalo - What Are Her Responsibilities As Miss Universe Asia?

“Bulacan Barbie” Chelsea Manalo explains the title she bagged from the recent Miss Universe pageant.

Chelsea Manalo is Miss Universe Asia 2024 and as the first one to bag this title, these are going to be her duties and responsibilities.

Miss Denmark Victoria Kjaer Theilvig is Miss Universe 2024. While PH bet Chelsea Manalo failed to get the 5th crown for the country, she was able to snatch the title of Miss Universe Asia, the first one to get this.

She brought pride to the country for winning this and apart from this triumph, Chelsea was also Best National Costume Awardee in the international pageant held in Mexico previously.

Manalo has finally returned to the country after being away for almost two months. She arrived via PR flight 113 from Los Angeles wearing a black leather jacket.

Now, as the Miss Universe Asia 2024, what are her duties and responsibilities?

“We’ll be working closely with the different continental queens and Miss Universe, Miss Victoria, to support charity efforts and the organization’s mission,” she said.

For one whole year, she will be working with the other winners touring, working with charities, and traveling for causes that the MU organization believes in. They will be collaborating with the organization and its charitable initiatives.

In a press release, Chelsea will be in Thailand and Europe around May or June 2025. As the winner of the title, it is part of her responsibility to “oversee projects and charity programs” in different parts of the world.

Meanwhile, in the pageant, Manalo had a Top-30 finish. Regarding the continental titles, they were made aware of it but they had no idea why it wasn’t announced during the coronation night.
