Recently, Pres. Bongbong Marcos went on a visit to the Southern Luzon Command’s (Solcom) Camp General Guillermo Nakar in Lucena City. Based on a report on Inquirer, without mentioning former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte who made a call to the military, the Chief Executive told the military to stay focused amid the noises.

“Huwag kayong nalilinlang sa mga nangyayari. Let’s stay focused… Basta’t maliwanag sa pag-iisip natin. We have the same mission. I do it for the civilian end, kayo sa military police end. Pero pareho ang mission natin,” Marcos Jr. said.

Based on the report, Pres. Bongbong Marcos also gave an advise to military whenever they are distracted by the noise around. According to him, when that happens, you just have to ask what is your mission and then do it.

Following the statement of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte to the military, Malacañang spoke on the move of Duterte calling him to respect the Constitution and not disobey it. The Palace also said that Duterte must “desist from being as irresponsible as he has become”.
