Pres. Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Can No Longer Sort Things Out?
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President was pressed to give his reaction to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte’s claim that they have reached the “point of no return”.
Many BBM-Sara supporters did not see the supposed feud between Pres. Marcos and Vice Pres. Duterte coming. On the other side, many people are still in doubts if the happenings are really real following their close ties.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte were running mates in the 2022 Elections. He appointed her to lead the Department of Education (DepEd). However, in June this year, the Vice President resigned from being the education secretary.
Duterte’s resignation was also followed by her tirades and unexpected remarks against Marcos Jr. Duterte even accused that Marcos Jr. allegedly does not know how to be a president and she has allegedly never heard him talk about a solution to the problem of the country.
Vice Pres. Duterte has also implicated the Marcoses in the death of the late former Senator Ninoy Aquino. According to her, there are plots against her and if one of them succeeds, part of her final wish is the death of Pres. Marcos.
Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that she believes that she and Pres. Bongbong Marcos could no longer sort things out. According to the Vice President, they have reached the “point of no return”.
Marcos Jr. rarely responds to the tirades of Duterte unless when he is asked by the media. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Chief Executive was asked about his reaction to the “point of no return” statement of the Vice President.
“Never say never,” Pres. Bongbong Marcos said.
Recently, Pres. Marcos also reacted to the impeachment plan against Vice Pres. Duterte in the House of Representatives. The Vice President has snubbed the hearings set at the lower chamber several times.
Duterte ditched several hearings set for the deliberation of the 2025 budget proposal of her office as well as inquiry set to investigate the Confidential Funds use of the DepEd and the Office of the Vice President (OVP).
