Neri Miranda News – A warden in Pasay City Jail confirmed that a certain “Nerizza Miranda” was detained at their jail facility.
Neri’s complete name is Nerizza Garcia Naig-Miranda. She is the wife of Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda. Just recently, she was involved in a shocking issue after it was first revealed by talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz in his Showbiz Update vlog that Neri was arrested.
Allegedly, the 41-year-old actress-entrepreneur, tagged as “Wais Na Misis,” is facing estafa complaint and violation of the Securities Regulation Code.
A report named her as the woman who was arrested by the Pasay City Police last Saturday, November 23. The Southern Police District released the video of the actual arrest.
In the video, the woman was letting someone on the phone hear it when an officer was reading to her the Miranda Rights.
Based on Ogie’s statement regarding this issue, it seemed that Neri Miranda’s opponent is a powerful personality. The talent manager-vlogger, known also as one of the famous showbiz insiders, shared that his source sent Neri’s mug shots but he chose not to show it in public.
On November 27, ABS-CBN New reporter Jeff Caparas shared in his post on X, formerly Twitter, that at around 12:02 PM, Pasay City Jail Female Dormitory Warden J/Supt. Jundelina Jagunap confirmed that a certain “Nerizza Miranda” was detained at their jail facility.
Jagunap shared what happened when Nerizza arrived at their jail facility. “Pagpasok niya ininterview siya ng desk officer, tapos medical siya, ininterview rin ng records, physical exam [at] pinasuot na siya ng yellow tshirt at brown pants,” the officer said.
Meanwhile, amid this issue, some netizens criticized Neri Miranda’s husband Chito Miranda for posting a photo of a toy. They accused the band vocalist of not sympathizing with his wife about the current issue she is facing. As of this writing, the couple has yet to release a statement about this.
