Xian Gaza shares something about the allegations regarding the case of Neri Miranda.
In a video, social media personality Xian Gaza shares what he knows about the allegations involving the case of Neri Miranda.
Neri Miranda is admired for being a “Wais Ni Misis” as the wife of Parokya Ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda. However, previously, Neri’s alleged arrest was first heard on the YouTube channel of Ogie Diaz.

In a video, internet personality Xian Gaza spoke about the issue and explained what he knows what happened that led to this.
As much as we all know, Neri has several businesses such as Neri’s Gourmet Tuyo, some branches of the Italian restaurant Amare La Cucina, other restaurants, and a few rest houses for rent outside Metro Manila. According to Gaza, her business particularly in the food and beverage industry is involved.
What she accordingly does is negotiate with an investor to give them money to put up a business in exchange for a share in the company.
What they do with the money is use in a business but unfortunately, the businesses failed and did not earn as expected. The investors asked for a refund but they don’t have money to return the invested amount and the loophole in this is the lack of a secondary license which is a clear case of violating Section 28 of the Republic Act 8799 or the Securities Regulation Code.
Estafa or fraudulence, on the other hand, came when she promised these investors returns for their investment but failed to do so as the businesses did not do well.

What we know about the case
Neri was arrested for estafa and violating securities and regulations last November 23 at a basement convention center inside a mall in Pasay City on November 23. She is facing 14 counts of violation of Section 28 of the Republic Act 8799 or the Securities Regulation Code. This is bailable for a total of Php 1,764,000.00 but the estafa case is non-bailable.
Section 28 of Republic Act No. 8799 particularly states that someone, unless registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), cannot buy, sell, or make transactions as a salesman, dealer, broker, or anyone associated with these positions.
As per the police district, Miranda is the seventh most wanted individual at the station level. On November 27, a certain “Nerizza Miranda” was transferred to the Pasay City Jail Female Dormitory on Wednesday.
