The first Filipino to be in the “Hong Kong Glamour Zone” of Madame Tussauds is Anne Curtis and here’s what she said about this.
The award-winning actress and “It’s Showtime” host Anne Curtis gets a Madame Tussauds wax figure and it’s finally here! Recently, her wax figure was unveiled. The unveiling happened at Makati City on Wednesday.
The figure will then be transferred to the Madame Tussauds Museum at The Peak in Hong Kong. It will be lined up in the “Hong Kong Glamour Zone” alongside Hollywood icons such as Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, and Brad Pitt. This just further cemented her status as a global multimedia star.
This is a historic both for Curtis and her Filipino fans.
Speaking about this milestone in her career, she expressed that she feels “beyond lucky” to be able to have this kind of opportunity. It is a dream come true for her as the wax figures of Madame Tussauds are the very artists she also looks up to.
“I can’t wait to be there with my fellow Filipinos and for our kababayans in Hong Kong to visit us,” she expressed.

In her wax figure, she was in a pose that was very familiar to her fans. She was wearing a cream-colored Dior gown which shows her signature style – simple yet classic and elegant.
To highlight her multifaceted influence, she is an award-winning actress, one of Tatler’s Asia’s Most Influential, UNICEF ambassadress, and a mainstay host of the well-loved noontime show It’s Showtime.
Meanwhile, the other Filipinos who have lifelike wax figures from Madame Tussauds were Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray, legendary boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, and Broadway DivaLea Salonga.
