It’s the sequel to the 2019 hit Hello, Love, Goodbye and stars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, supported by Joross Gamboa, Valerie Concepcion, and Jennica Garcia. The movie hit Philippine theaters on November 13, 2024.
On its first day, it earned a jaw-dropping P85 million, the highest opening for a local movie. By day two, it added another P70 million, making it the fastest Filipino film to smash through the P150-million mark.
By the third day, it hit P245 million, setting a new record for the quickest local film to cross P200 million.
It wasn’t just a hit in the Philippines—Hello, Love, Again made waves internationally, too. In its first week in the U.S. and Canada, it earned $2.4 million, marking the biggest opening for a Filipino film in those countries.
Recently, the A Facebook page, “Random PH,” shared a now-viral photo of underwear left behind in the theater. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited reactions online.
The photo showed the undergarment on the floor beneath the seats, reportedly discovered after a daring scene featuring Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo. Many couldn’t help but link the intense on-screen chemistry of the lead stars to the unusual incident.
The incident adds humor to the movie’s popularity. Fans online shared their takes, with some joking that the scene was so captivating it left viewers literally “losing their minds—or belongings!”
