Super Typhoon Pepito Update – Areas Under Signal No. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5

Here’s the update about Super Typhoon Pepito according to PAGASA.

SUPER TYPHOON PEPITO UPDATE – These are the areas under these wind signals based on the latest from PAGASA.

From the typhoon category, Pepito is now a super typhoon and as per the latest, it continues to threaten the Northeastern Bicol Region. At 4 PM on November 16, the location of the center is 120 km East of Virac, Catanduanes.

It has a catastrophic maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 240 km/h. It moves west northwestward at 20 km/h based on the latest weather bulletin, several areas were put under Signal No. 5.

  • Catanduanes and the northeastern portion of Camarines Sur (Caramoan, Garchitorena, Lagonoy, Presentacion)

Pepito will make landfall in the vicinity of Catanduanes tonight or tomorrow early morning, November 17. According to the forecast, PEPITO is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday.
