Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards Movie “Hello, Love, Again” 1st Day Earning Revealed

The first-day earning of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards’ movie, “Hello, Love, Again”, bared.

KATHRYN BERNARDO AND ALDEN RICHARDS – “Hello, Love, Again” sets a record as on its first day, it has this massive earning.

“Hello, Love, Again” is the movie starring Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. This is the much-awaited sequel of the 2019 blockbuster movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye” directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana.

It was officially shown on November 13 and is one of the few local films that had a midnight screening. Last Tuesday, Bernardo, Richards, and Garcia-Sampana along with the other artists comprising the film, had a successful world premiere. This event was attended by ABS-CBN and GMA-7 executives. 

As reported, the film earned over Php 85 million on its first day which is the highest opening gross for a local movie recorded.

The film is shown in 656 local cinemas, the highest number for a local film and several films will be opened for “Hello, Love, Again” abroad as well. Overall, this movie will be shown in 1,000 cinemas worldwide. 

HLG was shot in Hong Kong while HLA was shot in Canada. Apart from showing the continuation of Ethan and Joy’s story, the movie also shows the reality of OFWs in this country. As per the reactions online, the sequel takes a hard bite of the reality of love, finding a “home”, and life of being away from one’s family.

The other actors in the film are Jennica Garcia, Joross Gamboa, Valerie Concepcion, Kevin Kreider, Jobert Austria, Mark Labella, Marvin Aritrangco, and Ruby Rodriguez.

Regarding the success of the film, Richards expressed that they are happy and fulfilled and the turnout of the film is something they have not expected. As for Bernardo, she is grateful to those who made it to the midnight screenings, had block screenings, and to people who have yet to watch their film in cinemas.

She quipped, “Thank you so much for all the support.”
