The Acura NSX of Angie Mead King caught fire along South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and this is what she said about what transpired.
The automotive community today is both saddened and relieved. Sad that the Acura NSX of Angie Mead King burned down but also relieved that she was able to get out of the sports car safe and unscathed. The unfortunate incident happened while she was driving along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).
It was a sad loss but many were happy and felt reassured that she was safe and nobody else was hurt.
“This is such a crazy experience. The car is gone,” said the entrepreneur as she shared a slip of her half-burnt Acura NSX. According to her, there were modifications done to the car, therefore, there could be a lot of possible reasons as to why and how it caught fire.
As per her words, there are no ways to rebuild the car from its remains, and the rear chassis has been burned entirely as well as the wirings. The engine looked bad as “the metal’s probably warped because the flames were intense”.
Kind uploaded another video of her updating her fans and followers to show them how she got out unharmed. King expressed, “Hi guys, thanks for checking [in], I am alive. We gotta take care of towing the car. The car is gone, it’s literally gone, caught on fire after the exit. It’s gone. No words.”
Her lungs got hurt as the car was on fire while she driving it before it “dropped down and basically burst into flames”. The Acura NSX is a two-seater, rear mid-engined, rear-wheel drive sports car manufactured by Honda.
She is thankful to the people who helped her and while she can for sure get another one one day, for now, she will be living another day. What happened which a fire extinguisher could never handle left her traumatized.
