The Facebook page Blade Auto Center shared a video of a woman standing in a parking lot to reserve space. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited comments from the online community.
In the video, the woman, dressed in pink, can be seen standing firmly in the parking lot to save the spot. When the driver who intended to park confronted her, she didn’t budge, leading to a tense exchange.
The situation escalated as another woman attempted to physically push her out of the space. The woman, identified as Cheng Dizon, later shared her side of the story online to explain her actions.
According to Cheng, she was reserving the spot for her father, a senior citizen, and other family members, including children and a baby, who were in a car nearby. She claimed that when she arrived at the parking lot, she found an available space and decided to wait in it.
Cheng alias ‘Pink Parking Girl also mentioned that multiple cars passed by her while she was reserving the spot, and no one informed her that reserving a parking space this way was not allowed.
Dizon explained that the incident started when a family in an SUV approached, allegedly speaking to her in an aggressive tone. She tried to stay calm, stating that her family was on the way to park.
The woman said that she remained respectful despite being publicly shamed and verbally confronted. Cheng apologized for the misunderstanding, acknowledging that she wasn’t aware of any rules prohibiting her actions, and said that the experience left her feeling humiliated and distressed.
