Willie Revillame was asked about his platforms as a senator
Veteran TV host Willie Revillame said that he will start planning for certain issues in the Philippines after getting elected as a senator.
Willie filed his certificate of candidacy for senator. This decision came after his push-and-pull statements regarding his political plans. Last year, he already expressed his desire to be a senatorial candidate.
A few months ago, he said that he lost his interest in politics because of the division among the public servants.
When the filing of COC started, he said that there had been prominent political figures who were encouraging him to run. Then, before the last of the filing, he asked for prayers from the public regarding the decision that he would make.
On the last day of the filing of COC, Willie Revillame surprised many people. He filed his COC for senator for the 2025 elections.
An interview clip after he filed his COC circulated online. Twitter user @AltIndayBadiday shared a portion of the interview in which the veteran host was asked about the solution that he will have regarding improving Filipino lives.
Host Gretchen Ho asked about his suggestion or plan to address the problem or to have the solution as the problem is already identified. “Meron na ba kayong panukalang naisip?” Gretchen asked Willie.
He answered, “Wala pa kasi hindi pa ako nanalo.” Willie added that if he wins, he think all about this. He also said that what he is thinking right now is how to win.
“Huwag niyo muna akong tanungin ng mga ganun,” he said. Gretchen asked Willie what would be the solution to that problem as a senator. His answer was “Hindi pa nga ako senador.” Willie stressed that this will be discussed after he wins and the hosts should not hurry him.
