Restaurant Responds to Delivery Rider Claiming Mistreatment by Manager
GRAB FOOD RIDER – A popular restaurant has issued a statement after a delivery rider claimed mistreatment by a manager.
Earlier, a popular restaurant (Max’s) faced backlash after a GrabFood rider shared his unpleasant experience with the restaurant’s manager. The incident, which happened at Max’s Restaurant in SM Molino, Bacoor, Cavite, garnered various reactions online.
The rider explained that he was waiting inside the restaurant for his customer’s order when the manager approached him, telling him that he wasn’t allowed to sit inside. The manager pointed outside without giving any specific place for him to wait.
Frustrated, the rider stood up and asked the cashier to expedite the order, as he had been waiting for about 40 minutes. He also expressed his concern, stating that riders’ orders should be prioritized if they aren’t allowed to sit inside.
Despite his request, the manager reiterated that he could file a complaint if he had any issues. The rider chose to leave without further argument, feeling that the conversation wouldn’t resolve anything.
