Andi Eigenmann & Philmar Alipayo’s Daughter Lilo Alipayo Wins Youngest Surfer Award
LILO ALIPAYO – The eldest child of Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo, Lilo Alipayo won the youngest surfer award.
At just five years old, Lilo Eigenmann Alipayo is already making waves, both literally and figuratively, as she participated in a surfing competition in Siargao. The daughter of actress Andi Eigenmann and professional surfer Philmar Alipayo earned recognition as the youngest contestant in the third Mayor Sol’s Invitational Surfing Competition, held on October 7.
Proud of her achievement, Lilo’s father, Philmar, shared a glimpse of his daughter receiving her participation certificate and a special award for being the youngest surfer. These moments were highlighted in his Instagram Stories, and a similar post was shared by the local mayor on her official Facebook page, celebrating Lilo’s milestone in the surfing community.
Lilo has been catching waves since she was just two years old, showing an early affinity for the sport. By the age of three, she was already able to ride a surfboard on her own, demonstrating impressive skills at such a young age. This competition marked a significant moment for Lilo, as it was her second time competing, having made her debut in another contest just a month earlier in September.
Her father, Philmar Alipayo, also made headlines at the same event, where he emerged as the champion in the men’s longboard category. Known as one of the top surfers in the Philippines, Alipayo’s influence is clearly reflected in Lilo’s passion for the sport.
Lilo is the eldest of Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo’s two children, with their younger son Koa likely to follow in his family’s ocean-loving footsteps. Andi, who left the spotlight to live a simpler life in Siargao, also has an older daughter, Ellie, with her former partner, actor Jake Ejercito.
With Lilo’s early accomplishments and the surfing prowess running in the family, it’s clear that the young athlete is just getting started, and many more surfing accolades are likely to come her way.
