Alex Gonzaga Reveals Her Body Is In Good Shape For Conceiving A Baby
ALEX GONZAGA – YouTube star and actress Alex Gonzaga shared a candid look at her fertility journey and advocacy.
Actress and vlogger Alex Gonzaga recently revealed that her body is in good shape for conceiving a baby, expressing her optimism during a press conference for Chef Aybs’ Paragis Tea. “My last test, positive na po ‘yung katawan ko so any time puwede na po tayong mabuntis,” Gonzaga shared, noting that her blood levels indicate a 60% chance of readiness for pregnancy.
However, her journey toward motherhood has not been without challenges. Gonzaga explained that her high immune system has made it difficult for her to conceive. “One of the reasons kaya hirap akong mabuntis is masyadong mataas ang immune system ko na hindi ko po alam kung bakit. There’s something wrong with my thyroglobulin na sinabi ng doctor ko,” she said.
To address these challenges, Alex Gonzaga has undergone various treatments, including in vitro fertilization (IVF) and lymphocyte immunization therapy (LIT), which involves injecting white blood cells from her husband into her skin to help her body recognize pregnancy.
In addition to discussing her fertility journey, Gonzaga emphasized the importance of protecting women and their bodies, advocating for sensitivity when discussing issues surrounding fertility. She expressed concern about the casual use of the term “baog,” or barren, in reference to women without children. “
In this revelation, she shared, “Hindi ako nasaktan personally. Pero tingin ko kailangang mag-stop ‘yung kapag sinasabihan kang baog.”
“Sa gender, very sensitive na po tayo ngayon. Even sa body shaming. Pero bakit sa babae, kapag walang anak, bakit parang very loosely ginagamit ‘yung baog? We really have to be sensitive about it. Sa akin, kaya ko, puwede naman. What if may mga taong very sensitive talaga sa kanila ‘yung ganung issue? May mga ganun talaga akong kilala na they can’t even talk about it. Naisip ko, we have to be careful na gamitin ‘yung words na ‘yun sa mga kababaihan kasi maraming inner struggles ang mga babae na hindi natin alam,” she added.

The actress also addressed the broader issue of bullying in the digital age, noting the increasing sensitivity of people regarding online comments. She has taken proactive steps to address negative remarks about women’s fertility. “Nung may nakita akong nagkomento na ganun, pinakausap ko sa lawyer,” she revealed.
Throughout her journey, Gonzaga finds inspiration and support from her husband, Mikee Morada, and her parents, Daddy Bonoy and Mommy Pinty, as she navigates both her personal and advocacy endeavors.
