In an interview, Carlos Yulo revealed that they want to tie the knot next year.
Filipino gymnastics sensation Carlos Yulo reveals plans to get married and build a family with long-time girlfriend Chloe San Jose.
Mr. and Mrs. Yulo soon? Couple Carlos Yulo and Chloe Anjeleigh San Jose were already adults when they first met in 2020. It is no secret that they were in a long-distance relationship when they started and it took about two years before they met each other in person. They met in person for the first time at the 2021 SEA Games in Vietnam.
Yulo is a double Olympic gold medalist while his girlfriend is a social media influencer. Their relationship has been quite controversial ever since Yulo won gold. Carlos’ issue with his family allegedly started because of Chloe.
With the issues seemingly dying down already, the gold medalist gymnast proved that these issues left them unbothered as they have now plans of settling down. He shared this during an intimate event at Bonifacio Global City hosted by Gambia Consul Agnes Huibonhoa and businesswoman Tina Cuevas for Joanne Rae Ramirez on her 25th year as editor-in-chief of PeopleAsia magazine.
“We want to get married next year,” Yulo shared and added that they are planning to have kids after the LA Olympics in 2028.
Meanwhile, Yulo is currently on a break from his rigorous training which has been going on for many years. He believes that his daily grueling six-hour training, non-stop, was one of the reasons why for his stunted growth.
For now, what he needs is a real vacation. Although, despite in his downtime in terms of training, he still keeps his discipline intact when it comes to what he consumes.
