VICO SOTTO – The Pasig City Mayor has gone viral recently because of his response to “I Love You, Mayor”.
The youthful leadership of Mayor Vico Sotto has drawn millions of admirers. As of date, he is probably among the youngest mayors of the country, and his public service and good governance has magnet these people.
He could have followed in his parent’s footsteps and made it big as a celebrity but he took the other path. He became the youngest mayor to take the helm of Pasig City. As much as we all know, he is the only son of Coney Reyes and Vic Sotto, both award-winning film and television artists.
Previously, Vito filed for COC for the midterm election next year. He is seeking reelection as a Pasig City mayor and this is going to be his last term. When he filed for his candidacy, he was accompanied by his parents who insisted on being there to show their support. Both of his parents are supportive of his career in public service.
Recently, a video of the Pasig Mayor amid an interview went viral. It looked like it was taken during the day of his filing and in the background, someone shouted, “I love you, Mayor!”
He was a bit busy addressing questions but he still took time to respond to it and his response was, “I love you too pero quiet muna ha!”
