Will Willie Revillame finally enter politics?
In the recent episode of his program, game show host Willie Revillame ask for prayers from the public and this is what he said.
Philippines has just entered a new election season through the opening of the candidacy filing for 2025 elections. Starting October 1 to 8 from 8 AM to 5 PM, the Commission On Election (COMELEC) will be carrying out its “ministerial duty” of accepting certificates of candidacy (COCs) and Certificates of Nomination and Acceptance (CONA).

The positions available on the May 12, 2025 elections are:
- Senators – 12
- Party-List Representatives – 63
- Member, House of Representatives – 254
- Governor – 82
- Vice Governor – 82
- Provincial board member – 800
- City Mayor – 149
- City Vice Mayor – 149
- City councilor – 1,690
- Municipal Mayor – 1,493
- Municipal Vice Mayor – 1,493
- Municipal councilor – 11,948
- BARMM Members of the Parliament – 25
- BARMM Party Representatives – 40
This has a total of 18,280. For the midterm polls, one of the personalities being encouraged to seek a senatorial position is famous host Willie Revillame.
There are many reasons why and one of the main ones was his generous heart in helping the poor people. For years, through his show, he’s been extending help in all forms to those who are in need and his heart is always soft for the needy, the children, and elderlies. Helping people in need should not have an end is his principle.
It is his lifetime commitment to give hope to the people. Based on a previous article, Willie was encouraged to run for senator.
In the past months, his tune on running for senator in the 2025 midterm elections seemed to have changed. January of this year, he even declared that he is ready, and recently, in his new show “Wil To Win”, he asked the people to pray for him.
He did not mention anything but he just asked for prayers. Tomorrow is the last day for the filing of the COCs and he said, “Pag nandito ako bukas, tuloy-tuloy. Pag wala ako, mas malaki ang maiambag ko sa bawat Pilipino. Ang kailangan ko, makagawa ng mabuti sa bawat Pilipinong nangangailangan. Makikipag-away ako para sa mahihirap.”
