Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto seeks third term as mayor.
VICO SOTTO – The current mayor of Pasig City has just filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for his last term as local chief executive.
Election season has just started and is now in full swing and just this Saturday, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto officially filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) with his parents. This formalizes his bid as he seeks to continue being this city’s local chief executive. This bid is for his last term and with him are award-winning actress Coney Reyes and Eat Bulaga’s “Bossing” Vic Sotto.
He is Coney Reyes and Vic Sotto’s only son.Â
They are proud parents of their re-electionist mayor son. In an interview, the veteran Kapuso comedian was asked and he has nothing but full support for his son. He believes that the old style politics will no longer work on the people of Pasig as they know better now.
Vico’s father believed that the voters are smarter now. He said, “Alam naman ng Pasigenyo ang tama o mali. Nakikita natin ang pagbabago sa takbo ng gobyerno dito… Matalino ang mga Pasigenyo. Matalino na ang mga botante natin ngayon.”
As for the mother, the actress expressed that she’s at peace knowing that her son knows what he’s doing. She believes that God is in control.
Vico filed together with his vice mayor, Robert Jaworski.
Previously in an interview, Vico as a politician was something she did not expect but as a mother, she saw him growing up as a principled person.
Apart from Vico, Reyes has two other children namely LA and Carla. They are her children from her previous marriage to late basketball player Larry Mumar.
As for the 2025 polls, several celebrities have already filed their COCs, and several politicians are also for their re-election.
