A female commuter shared disturbing experience after allegedly being harassed by a male passenger inside the bus.

Recently, Ella Pilande, a Facebook user, expressed her feelings after allegedly being harassed by a ‘yakman’ passenger inside the bus. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited comments from netizens.

The female commuter described the situation as happening late at night, around 9 PM. She boarded a bus bound for Luzon, which was quite empty at the time. As the bus reached the flyover in Balara, a man got on board.

Despite the sufficient number of seats, the man chose to sit next to her, holding his bag and murmuring random things she couldn’t understand. She initially didn’t think much of it since his destination was just one stop away, so she decided to stay in her seat.

However, after a few minutes, Ella noticed some strange movements that made her uncomfortable. She tried to ignore them, but soon felt the man’s elbow touching her skin and applying pressure to her chest.

Even though he had said he would get off at UP Town, he stayed on the bus, which made her more uneasy. Ella eventually moved closer to the window, catching a glimpse of the man’s reflection in the glass, staring at her.

The lady passenger secretly took a photo using her phone’s back camera. She discovered that the man had exposed himself and was behaving indecently. When she looked at him to confirm what she saw, the man hurriedly stood up and left the bus.

Ella shared how stunned she was by the experience, admitting that she was usually outspoken but found herself frozen in fear. She urged other women to always speak up and stand up for themselves in similar situations.
