Recently, Yong Ejercito, a Facebook user, shared his encounter with an honest Grab driver named Jose Dela Amor Aguilar. The post spread like wildfire on social media and elicited reactions from the online community.
On September 26, 2024, Yong booked a Grab ride from NAIA3 to Cubao. After a couple of days, while organizing his luggage and checking photos, he realized that his drone was missing. He had just returned from a trip to Catanduanes and had been exhausted.
Yong panicked, as he had no way to contact the driver through the Grab app or by phone. Desperate to locate his lost item, he posted in various online groups related to Grab, hoping his message would reach the driver.
An hour later, he received a call from Jose. The driver informed him that the drone was safe and reassured him that he had nothing to worry about. Jose even mentioned that his brother, Dale C. Aguilar, would deliver the drone back to Yong.
Dale returned the drone to Yong’s place, complete and without any issues. The gesture left Yong feeling grateful and relieved, reinforcing his belief that there are still good-hearted people in the world.
The passenger praised both drivers for their honesty and kindness. He expressed his gratitude, wishing him continued blessings and safe rides in the future.
