Kapamilya TV Host Robi Domingo Speaks on Wish as he Celebrates 35th Birthday
ROBI DOMINGO – The Kapamilya TV host was emotional on his birthday wish for his wife, Maiqui Pineda, to be healed so they can have a baby.
One of the Filipino celebrities who got married this year is Robi, a popular and brilliant television host that the showbiz industry has. He is a former housemate of the ABS-CBN reality TV show Pinoy Big Brother who, later on, became a host of the show.
Robi Domingo was the host of many of the biggest and most popular TV shows of the Kapamilya network. Among these are The Voice Kids, The Biggest Loser: Doubles, and Shout Out. These are apart from his consistent hosting in several editions of the PBB.
Living a celebrity life, the love life of Robi is also not a secret to the public. In 2017, Robi started to know Maiqui Pineda more although they already know each other back then during their student days at Ateneo de Manila University.
It was in 2017 when Robi and Maiqui chatted until 4 a.m. Their friendship got deeper and led them to a romantic relationship. He considers her his “favorite person” as he said in an interview with Karen Davila. She also confirmed that she knew he’s the one as he is able to make her do things she thought she could not.
In 2020, Robi Domingo proposed for marriage to Maiqui Pineda during their trip to Japan with some showbiz friends. He popped the question while they were walking along Shibuya Crossing.
Robi and Maiqui decided their wedding ceremony to be held at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador. It was where the TV host as baptized three (3) decades ago and she loves its architectural style which features the 18th Century design. They had a Barong Tagalog and Filipiniana motif.
However, the relationship of Robi Domingo and Maiqui Pineda encountered an unexpected huge bump — she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Recently, the TV host turned 35 years old and his birthday wish is not anymore for himself.
Robi admitted that he wants to be a father. In a heartfelt video he posted, he candidly spoke about his original plan which is to be a father by this year. However, the unexpected happened and he also believes that it may not be the time yet.
