Relationship of Carlos Yulo, Chloe San Jose Stronger amid Issues
CHLOE SAN JOSE – The content vlogger girlfriend of Carlos Yulo revealed her side on the “family first” mantra and his situation with his family.
Not only the double gold win of Carlos Yulo in the 2024 Paris Olympics hooked the people. His family issues were also exposed to the public.
Carlos Yulo is the second son of his parents, Mark Andrew and Angelica Yulo. He has an older sister named Joriel, a younger brother named Karl Eldrew, and a younger sister named Elaiza or Yza.
Not only Caloy but as well as Eldrew and Yza are into gymnastics. Thus, the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines or GAP are expecting to have both Carlos and Eldrew in the 2028 Olympics.
However, amid the success of Carlos Yulo in the 2024 Olympics which brought him multi-million rewards, incentives, and gifts, it was revealed to the public that he and his mother have a rift due to money issues and her disapproval of his girlfriend.
Carlos is in a relationship with Chloe San Jose, a content creator who grew up in Australia. They are allegedly living under the same roof now. Amid the people feasting on the family issues of Caloy, there are divided reactions.
There are netizens who expressed support for Carlos and Chloe while there are also those who urge the Olympics double gold medalist to fix his relationship with his family. Chloe earned both bashing and support from the situation.
Recently, Chloe San Jose and Carlos Yulo graced the vlog interview of Toni Gonzaga for the Toni Talks. During the interview, the girlfriend of Caloy was asked if she feels hurt over the situation of the Olympics double gold Medalist with his family — to which she replied in the affirmative.
According to Chloe, it also happened to her when people who are biologically-related to her put her down and does not believe on her capabilities. She also revealed her stand on the “family first” mantra of many people:
“Yeah, family first pero family first should be the first ones also na sinusuportahan ka, pinoprotektahan ka. So why is it the opposite?” she said.
During the vlog interview, Chloe San Jose also stressed that it does not make sense to prioritize a family who is not coming first when it comes to supporting and protecting you.
“Sila yung unang hindi naniwala sa ‘yo. So why is that? So parang sakin po, it does not make sense or hindi po nagtutugma ‘yung ‘family first dapat’,” the girlfriend of Carlos Yulo said.
Toni Gonzaga asked the couple what they get from their relationship. During the vlog interview, Carlos Yulo admitted that their relationship brings him peace and motivation to do what he wants in life. For her part, she stressed that it brings her security that she is worthy to be loves and she is seen as she is.
“Mas naging grateful na nandito siya sa tabi ko, mas naramdaman ko iyong love like walang-wala kami before, nag stay siya. Bihira po iyong ganun. Masasabi kong regalo siya sa akin ni Lord,” Caloy said on Chloe.
During the interview with Toni Gonzaga, Carlos Yulo admitted that he was wrong and her got his own karma for talking back to his parents. He stressed that he has forgiven his family and he is focusing on himself and his relationship with Chloe San Jose.
