Andrew E was asked about his past love life
Rapper Andrew E asserted in a recent interview that he never had a past girlfriend who was a celebrity.
Andrew has been in the industry for many years. Aside from his music, he also rose to fame through the comedy movies he did. Over the years, his name remained popular even though he has been inactive in doing movies.
In a recent article in PEP, columnist Jerry Olea said that Andrew had a lot of leading ladies in his past movie and this garnered speculations that he is a playboy. The rapper shared that there was a time when someone asked if he had a child out of wedlock.
His answer to this was, “Mga kaibigan, ganito ang sagot ko, ‘Ang anak ko, tatlo. Ibig sabihin nun, certified worldwide.’ Certified yon, kaya kung ano, tatlo lang talaga ang anak ko. Di ba?”
Andrew E also explained that he just had a girlfriend when he was already 30 years old. Prior to this, he was single so this debunked the speculations that he had a child before he got married.
He also said that he never had a celebrity girlfriend. When asked if it was his intention not to be in a relationship with a celebrity, he said “no.” The rapper explained that at that time, loveteam culture played a major part in the relationship of celebrity couples.
“Ang tendency is ipe-play around mo yung sa mata ng tao yung pagiging loveteam nyo or whatever-whatever, di ba?” he said, adding that his loveteam at that time is just in movies.
Back then, his loveteam partner was actress Ana Roces. Andrew admitted that the actress was really his crush. He also shared that he courted the actress but she turned him down. He said that although he was famous, his face was just “ordinary.”
Meanwhile, Andrew E said in an interview that the whole Philippines is loyal to him and it is because of his ordinary face.
