In an interview, actor Derek Ramsay has this to say about John Lloyd Cruz, Ellen Adarna’s ex-partner and Elias’ father.
It did not quite end well between John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna but when it comes to parenting, they give the best they could for their son Elias. They have been co-parenting for years now and they are seemingly quite good at this.
Elias was born on 2018 and ever since, Ellen has nothing but good words about Cruz in being a father, especially in providing what their son needs. Previously, she lambasted a netizen who pointed out John Lloyd’s absence in the moving up ceremony of Elias.
Moreover, she gave him credit for not missing in providing financial support for their five-year-old son. He provides for their son’s basic needs which is Php 10,000.00 at maximum. He insisted on doubling this but she could only accept Php 20,000.00 and higher than that is already unacceptable for her. They share the responsibilities for their son.
She is married to Derek Ramsay and her husband and Elias are the best buddies. In a recent interview, Ramsay talked about Cruz and expressed that when it comes to being Elias’ father, he understands that he will always be the second best. He will never disrespect him when it comes to his place as Elias’ biological father.
Regarding his relationship with Cruz, they are not best friends but they are also not enemies. They are something in between because of the things that connect them.
“Hindi. Si John Lloyd, kasi Elias has school now so Monday to Friday, sa amin siya, then sa weekends, sa Papa niya,” he also shared about their current setup. When it comes to Elias, he finds himself easily falling in love with him as he is a great kid. The love for the kid came naturally and there’s no acting with the way he is treating him contrary to what the bashers accused him of.
