On Wednesday, based on the article in PEP, Iya Villania returned to the Kapuso primetime news program after her two-day vacation. She was warmly welcomed by news anchors Mel Tiangco, Pia Arcangel, and Emil Sumangil after she announced her fifth pregnancy.
During the closing spiel, Mel had a funny reaction to Iya’s pregnancy. “Uy, welcome back from your two-day vacation. Ha? Tapos may baby nang dala at panglima? Ano ba yun, Drew? Ngayon lang ako nakarinig ng ganyan, ha?” the veteran news anchor said.
Mel’s reaction made Iya burst into laughter. The showbiz segment host jokingly asked the news anchor not to scold her. She added, “Ay naku! Pero last na talaga. Last na talaga! We’re a growing family.”
