PNP Believes Quiboloy Still in KOJC Compound, Heartbeat Detected by Radar Underground

Amid Intensified Search for Pastor Quiboloy, PNP Keeps Some Strategies in Private

PNP – The Philippine National Police stands firm on its belief that the radar detected a human heartbeat underground and Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is still in KOJC compound.

The Philippine National Police is not done on its search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy inside the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound in Davao City. The authorities are now on their 11th day of drilling and trying to locate the alleged underground area where the Pastor may be hiding.

Quiboloy is faced with several accusations in the Philippines and in the United States. Previously, Vice President Sara Duterte expressed her beliefe that Quiboloy is no longer in Davao City citing the long-standing investigation which might have allegedly given him to leave the KOJC compound.

The Duterte family, most especially former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, is close to the Pastor. Vice Pres. Duterte even apologized to the KOJC members for seeking support for Pres. Bongbong Marcos in 2022 when he was running for the presidency.

Duterte and Marcos were running-mates. However, currently, the intensified search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy which includes the PNP drilling operations at the KOJC compound his happening under the Marcos administration.

Aside from the Vice President, the legal counsel of the Pastor and the spokesperson of KOJC, Attorney Israelito Torreon, also claimed his belief that Quiboloy has left the KOJC compound in March.

Amid these claims, based on a report on UNTV, the Philippine National Police believes that Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is still inside the KOJC compound. The PNP also stands by its belief that it was a human heartbeat that was detected by the radar underground.

KOJC spokesperon Atty. Israelito Torreon claimed that they want an access at the Jose Maria College building where the authorities allegedlye made a tunnel to find the supposed bunkyard. According to the lawyer, their architects and engineers are already saying that the operation “endangers the structural stability of the building”.

PNP denied the allegations that they are planting evidences underground based on the report. According to the national police, they do not disclose all the operations done in line with the search to avoid jeopardizing their plans.

“May scanner o wala, wala kaming ipapasok na gamit to plan an evidence… Hindi lahat ng mga tactical and operations or strategies namin ay pwede ihayag sa publiko o sa members ng KOJC,” Police Major Catherine Dela Rey said.

Recently, Duterte supporter raised a question for Pres. Bongbong Marcos regarding the PNP operations at the KOJC compound. Sass Rogando Sasot also shared photos of the drilling operations.
