PAGASA Says TS Enteng to Make Landfall in Cagayan & Isabela on Monday (Sept. 2, 2024)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported Tropical Storm Enterng will make a landfall in Cagayan & Isabela on Monday afternoon (September 2, 2024).

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Tropical Storm Enterng will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that Tropical Storm Enterng slowly turned towards the east of Polillo Islands. It has slightly intensified after slowing down over the coastal waters of Vinzons, Camarines Norte.

Enteng has maximum sustained winds of up to 75 kilometers per hour and gustiness up to 90 kph. It is moving west northwestward at 10 kph and may make landfall over Isabela or Cagayan by Monday afternoon or evening.

The weather disturbance may also make landfalls over Aurora and Babuyan Islands. It may  slow down even further Tuesday to Wednesday while gathering strength over Luzon Strait.

ENTENG is forecast to maintain tropical storm category until Tuesday and will intensify into a severe tropical storm by Wednesday. It may also reach a peak category of typhoon by Thursday or Friday. Further intensification over the Philippine Sea is still likely due to favorable conditions,” PAGASA said.
