CARLOS YULO – The Paris Olympics Double Gold Medalist revealed where he will use his money as he admitted that he is not materialistic.

This year marked the Philippines’ first time to win two (2) gold medals in the Olympics. What is even more jaw-dropping is that these two (2) gold medals from the Paris Olympics were won by one athlete.

Filipino gymnastics legend Carlos Yulo won Olympic gold medals in men’s floor exercise and vault event. Countless Filipinos rejoiced over the double victory of Caloy in the Olympics and it brought so much pride and honor to the Philippines.

Several entities were excited to reward Caloy for his Olympic wins. More than P100 million cash rewards and gifts were given to Carlos Yulo by the government and private entities to show their appreciation of the honor that he has brought the country.

Carlos Yulo also got three (3) customized gold bars from Cebuanna Lhuillier. Toyota have him his own Land Cruiser Prado while Chery Auto gifted him a Tiggo 7 Pro SUV along with several privileges for car maintenance.

Recently, based on an article on Pep, Caloy received another cash reward from his online gaming sponsor. DigiPlus gave the Olympic Double Gold Medalist Php 5 million as a gift for his Olympic wins.

Amid receiving more than P100 million cash rewards and gifts now, Carlos Yulo admitted that he is not materialistic. According to him, he has no idea where to use his money recalling that when he was younger, he just wanted a car and Toyota has already him one so he does not have to buy a car anymore.

“Siguro sa mga gym stuff ko po na kailangang gastusan, dun po ako magpo-focus,” Caloy said on where he will spend his money.

Based on the article, Carlos was only 16 years old when he went to Japan for his gymnastics training. He admitted that it was a tough challenge citing that he is away from his family and everything he use to live with. He also cited the diffirent culture in Japan and the language barrier.

The gymnastics legend admitted that he got depressed. He revealed that he could not anymore sleep and he turned to God.

“Nagdasal ako kay Lord hanggang sa nakatulog ako. The next day, medyo um-okay na po. Pero hindi pa rin natatapos talaga yung challenges,” he expressed.

Currently, it is still unclear if Caloy has already met with his family. Carlos Yulo’s father, Mark Andrew, is seemingly remind him through social media about the love for mother.
