“Kung makikita po ninyo sa ating satellite image may mga namamataan tayo na makakapal na kaulapan lalo na sa may Southern Luzon at ilang bahagi ng Kabisayaan,” said Torres.

The southwest monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, MIMAROPA, Cavite, Batangas, and Antique.

Flash floods or landslides are possible in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Habagat will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, the rest of CALABARZON, and the Visayas.

“Sa mga susunod na araw inaasahan pa rin natin ang patuloy na epekto ng southwest monsoon, mataas ang posibilidad na maging maulan,” she said.

Fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in the remaining parts of the country due to the localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

No tropical cyclone is being monitored in and around the Philippine area of responsibility.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over northern Luzon and the rest of the country will be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA. No gale warning was raised in any of the country’s seaboard.
