Controversial director Joel Lamangan clarifies that the viral post under his name is not from him but from a poser.
Currently making a loud buzz online is Ahron Villena’s intriguing statement about a director. According to him, this director made comments about the recent issues involving newbie actors and independent contractors and this is the same director who allegedly exploited him when he was still a newcomer.
The comment of the director emerged amid the issue involving Sandro Muhlach and two independent contractors from GMA.
Darryl Yap connected Villenaâs post and Joel Lamangan’s comments as the latter previously talked about the prevalence of such actions in the showbiz circle. According to him, this is rampant and have been happening for the longest time now.
In a previous article, a statement from Lamangan became viral online following Villena’s post. This has caught many attention online and in the alleged post, the director revealed Villena’s gender preference and even claimed that he is living with someone now, the person who gave him a business.
However, in an interview with ABS-CBN, Lamangan firmly denied that the post that got viral under his name was his own. He cried foul and clarified that the viral post is not from him.
“No. Hindi ako yan, poser yan, scammer!” said Lamangan. His friend and producer Dennis Evangelista also attested to this. According to his friend, that was not his way of speaking and it is not in his character to insult someone in that intense manner.
Currently, he is accordingly busy and has no time to make any response regarding the intrigue circulating online.
Ronaldo Carballo also said that upon reading the viral post, he immediately knew that it was not the veteran director who wrote it. He verified it to Direk Joel and the director denied it. He also called out Villena and expressed that the “starlet” is just “nakiki-ride-on” to Muhlach’s case.
