Atty. Ferdinand Topacio Shows Photo Against Pres. Bongbong Marcos, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos

FERDINAND TOPACIO – The lawyer showed the photo of President Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos with alleged POGO personalities.

The investigation on the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations in the Philippines continues even after Pres. Bongbong Marcos previously announced the banning of POGOs in the country. The said order was made during the recent State of the Nation Address (SONA) of the President.

However, one of the personalities who is accused of being linked to illegal POGO operations in Tarlac, former mayor Alice Guo, has left the Philippines amid the investigation. There is a pending arrest order issued by the Senate but the authorities failed to locate her.

Former Mayor Guo reportedly fled the country and went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia then moved to Singapore. According to the Bureau of Immigration, the former Mayor is currently in Indonesia.

However, amid the authorities backtracking who could have helped former Mayor Alice Guo, lawyer Ferdinand Topacio showed a photo showing Pres. Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos with the alleged POGO personalities.

Based on a post of Inquirer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio showed the said photo during the Pandesal forum in Quezon City. One of the women in the photo was identified by the lawyer as Cassandra Li Ong.

Cassandra Li Ong was recently detained in Indonesia and sent back to the Philippines with Sheila Guo, the sister of former Mayor Alice Guo. They are now under the custody of the Philippine authorities and charges were filed against Guo and Ong.

Countless Filipinos were left disappointed by the departure of former Mayor Alice Guo amid having multiple complaints filed against her. She’s also in the immigration lookout bulletin. According to BI, she left the country without passing by the immigration.

The President has yet to comment on the departure of former Mayor Alice Guo from the Philippines. Neither the Chief Executive nor the First Lady has also reacted to the photo shown by Atty. Ferdinand Topacio during a forum.
