Cristy Fermin revealed that Mommy Pinty Gonzaga filed a cyber libel complaint against her
Veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin announced that the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office junked the cyber libel complaint filed by Mommy Pinty Gonzaga, the mother of celebrity sisters Toni and Alex Gonzaga.
Being a showbiz reporter and commentator, Cristy is already a veteran when it comes to the complaints from showbiz personalities. This complaints would sometimes reach the court.
To recall, in March, Esther Lahbati, the mother of actress Sarah Lahbati filed a cyber libel case against the veteran showbiz insider.
This was followed by the cyber libel complaint filed by Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo in early May. A few days later, couple Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan filed the same case against Cristy.
Before the end of May, actor Dominic Roque filed a cyber libel complaint against the showbiz insider.
In a recent episode of Cristy Fermin’s show Cristy Ferminute on Radyo5 and One.PH, based on the article in PEP, the showbiz insider revealed that Mommy Pinty Gonzaga also filed a cyber libel complaint against her and her co-host Wendell Alvarez.
However, Cristy said that they chose to be silent about this. She happily announced that this case was already junked.
“Hindi lang po kami maingay, nabasura po yung kasong yon, cyber libel. Nabasura po yon sa Quezon City kaya maraming ganito na hindi na lang po kami nagsasalita,” the veteran showbiz insider said, adding that people might say that she is boasting that this was junked.
Cristy did not elaborate on the details of the complaint filed by Mommy Pinty but she mentioned that this was just a few months ago. She also shared that she has not seen these people who filed a complaint against her.
Cristy Fermin said that she personally goes to the Prosecutor’s office to face the complaints and it was only Esther Lahbati who she met there.
